Grobag Egg - the colour changing room thermometer that gives parents an instant view of baby's room temperature.
Room temperature is vital in creating a safe sleeping environment for a baby and should be maintained at 16-20°C to help reduce the risk of cot death.
The Grobag Egg glows yellow if the room temperature is within recommended guidelines. The egg will change colour if the room temperature is outside this range, so you can cool or heat the room, or adjust baby's bedding or clothing.
Simple Colour Warning System
 
- Blue - too cold (under 16°C)
- Yellow - recommended (16-20°C)
- Orange - warm (21-24°C)
- Red - too warm (over 24°C)

However, even though my child is now 2 and heat and cold are a little less of a priority, it is really interesting to see the temperature of her room and the shade of colour of the light is a superb idea. I was suprised as well, sometimes when I think my daughter's room is a bit cold, the temperature is as it is supposed to be. A very useful little thing. However, we have found that it gives a different temperature reading to 2 other brand of thermometers we have so not sure on accuracy... The glow of the night light is not bright enough to enable you to see particularly well, but I imagine it is a comfort for my 8 month old boy when he wakes in the night. Very good for a quick visible indication of the temperature of a room and whther it is too high or low.
