Maybe I had misunderstood what these were suppose to do, but we wanted something to stop our kids from closing some of our doors. We'd hoped these would 'lock' doors open.

As it turned out, these only 'hold' doors open and, with a gentle pull, they can be closed. Guess this might be useful in some cases, but not ours!
