The 6 small Food Portioners are simple and easy to use. Made up of individual pots that click together just un-click a pot from a batch in the freezer, defrost in microwave, serve food straight from the pot and then throw in the dishwasher.
It's easier to pour purée food straight from the pan, so the pots click snugly together, with no gaps for food to drop into, and their lids stay open so they won't get in the way (ensure the snuggest fit by squeezing the pots together from the inside with your thumb and forefinger).
To transfer the frozen purée into a bowl, just push the base with your thumb and it pops out easily.

Great for younger babies and for sauces

We got both sizes of food and freezer containers. Baby has grown out of the small food containers as he eats too much. These big ones hold a portion of stew or other leftover and it is big enough to hold pieces of food now we have moved on from puree. I now use the small ones for sauces like pasta sauce or cheese sauce so I can make a meal more quickly.
The pots look like they hold together but really they just sit close but you have to handle them up individually.

I found this useful for freezing small portions of single fruit/veg, and then mixing a few portions for a meal. If your baby is older and you prefer using one cube per meal then maybe the bigger size is more suitable.
