The Korbell Nappy Bin is a hands-free pedal bin. The only nappy bin which is truly hands free, and contains smells effectively, simply step and drop... Far superior to an open bin, this bin's design effectively prevents contamination and smells from dirty nappies by using a double "hermetic" design (two containers, one inside the other). Seal valves on both the outer and inner bin lids have the dual purpose of keeping the lids shut, and preventing odours escaping. Pleasant smelling, delicately fragranced refills also help mask smells.
Assuming a baby's nappy is changed 7 times a day,the Standard size bin holds up to 20 nappies, and the liner can be used for up to 240 nappies and will last 4-5 weeks. The Plus size bin will hold up to 30 nappies and the liner can be used for up to 335 nappies and will last 6-7 weeks and will hold up to 30 nappies. | ||

Good quality plastic that is nice looking. Overall well made and looks durable. Only issue I have so far is that the bin does not contain the smells of number 2's. It should as there are 2 rubber seals on both openings but after a day or two the area around the bin stinks.
To get around this I have to put number 2 nappies in their own nappy sack, kind of defeats the purpose.
Other than that one flaw, I really like this bin and would use it as a normal bin later.

After owning a Tommy Tippee nappy bin and not finding it to be as efficient as it should be, I decided to try Korbell's version, the main selling point being it can be used as a standard bin once ones child is out of nappies.
Excellent piece of design, and quite simple really - pedal bin so you don't have to thrust your hand into the bin, a shutting plate after nappy goes in, and can be locked as well - valuable feature as I learnt when my 2 year old tried to put her hand into the bin - turned the lock and problem now solved.
Cutting mechanism is fantastic, quick and easy.
The only thing I would mention is the side switch to get into the side hatch can be a bit fidgity, possibly down to user error or perhaps it is a bit fidgity.
My personal opinion is that it is a step up from my last bin, definite 5 stars for making it a bin that can be used well past the toddler stage. And it doesn't look like a nappy bin either.
