My 6 month old son is an extremely alert and active little boy. Napping at home isn't a problem as he loves his cotbed and his room is always nice and dark for him to wind down and fall asleep in.
However, I was stuck indoors until after his lunchtime nap every day as he simply would not sleep in his carseat or pushchair. If I ever did take him out before his lunchtime nap, he would end up being overtired by bedtime as he could not wind down and get to sleep
He is an extremely curious and alert little chappie! Every parent will know that an overtired baby is not easy to handle and can often get very upset indeed.
After purchasing this product, and using it for only the first time today, I realised my days of being stuck indoors until 3pm are over...hurrah! After attaching the snoozeshade to my son's maxi cosi seat at his usual nap time while we were out, literally 3 minutes later, he was fast asleep!!!
Amazing result considering I couldn't get him to sleep in his car seat unless I drove him around for at least an hour if not more! Seriously, if you want to keep your child content and happy whilst out and about by not spoiling the nap routine, just buy this...right now! Can't recommend it enough!
Good, though a bit fiddly to attach

We have a phil & teds sport, and although this attaches, it's quite fiddly to get the lower loops on. This is more because of the pushchair design than a flaw with the shade though. Shade once attached is really useful.
Good, but not great on Quinny rear facing

I love the idea of this product, and I am really hoping to be able to make use of it more in the future, but unfortunately it doesn't work very well on a Quinny Buzz with the seat rear facing (towards me) or with the car seat. This is because the elastic straps can't wrap around the frame in this position. It fits VERY WELL when the seats faces forward.
I bought this with a specific occasion in mind, hoping that my little one could fall asleep with the car seat in the Quinny frame, and then we could transfer him to the car without waking him. Now we will have to wake him to move him from the forward facing seat unit into the car seat when we leave a night time function. BUT, I expect it WILL do the job of helping him to sleep despite lights and noisy surroundings. So - although it hasn't been EXACTLY what I was hoping for - it certainly does the job it claims to do.
It is well made, feels like good quality, and I will definitely try to use it as much as possible.

I had the problem that parasols wouldn't fit the pushchair and the sun canopy broke and was useless anyway.
Did some research about this product before buying it. Like most of the reviews I was a bit unsure about it. But now I have it I love it.
It fits really easy and is stored easily so I have no more wondering if the sun will shine whilst I'm out and do I need to carry the sun canopy and rain cover!! I have used it under the raincover, at night to keep the insects off and as a blanket cos I forgot it.
Altogether very versatile.
