The Izi Combi carseat is ISOfix when rearfacing - click-in & install and has a simple belt installation when forward facing. It is approved for rear or forward facing installation Group 0+/1 (0-18kg) and for forward facing installation Group 1 (9-18kg).

New knowledge tells that all children under 3 years old should travel rear facing. Crash studies done by ADAC and the International Consumer Organization, ICRT show 5 times higher risk for severe injury in the neck of children in forward-facing seats compared with rear facing seats. Practical experience from Scandinavia also shows that the seatshell will protect the child from being injured from smashing into front seats or other fragments, plus this also protects from injuries due to belt intrusion in the child´s body.
