This product looks very nice, but my two main issues are that it's too bright and also it didn't appear to be altogether accurate, or sensitive. We have a baby monitor that displays the room temperature and has lights and music, and that was a far better product, in my opinion. Still, this is a nice "aesthetic" touch to your nursery.

Bought two (for different rooms) - tested them together at the same spot in the room, they are accurate to one another, but may vary from 0.2-0.4°C at any one time - which is not bad. Very good idea.

We already have one of these for our first daughters rooms and found it a God send as nervous new parents. Our two year old loves her's so much though we have not been able to remove it so we had to get another one for our new babies room. Really does give you peace of mind at a glance from the bedroom door - no need to turn on lights etc.

I think that this is a great concept. I love that I can tell at a glance the temperature of the room. However, we've been stuck with the "too hot" orange color since we plugged it in, so now we're just waiting for the weather to get a little cooler to see if it changes.

This was a freebie with my Grobag order and so it is not something I would have bought myself. However, even though my child is now 2 and heat and cold are a little less of a priority, it is really interesting to see the temperature of her room and the shade of colour of the light is a superb idea. I was suprised as well, sometimes when I think my daughter's room is a bit cold, the temperature is as it is supposed to be. A very useful little thing.

The Grobag Egg Digital Thermometer looks good and with one quick glance you can easily see the temperature of the room. The glow of the night light is not bright enough to enable you to see particularly well, but I imagine it is a comfort for my 8 month old boy when he wakes in the night. Perfect and highly recommended.

Quite good tool, but too much light during the night, so I have to switch it off all the time I put my little one his cot :-( So I can not come and check the temperature when he is asleep.

Usefull, gives a soft light at night, the ideal temp. is set quite low though (up to 20C- while grobag sleeping bags recommend temp of up to 22C) I've got baby monitor which shows temp. so Egg was a nice gift from That Cute Age for getting 2 grobags sleeping bags. Thanks for that.

Thermometer is on its way to New Zealand. Older houses have no d-glazing, no central heating and South Island temperature can fluctuate widely. An ideal quick room temp check to keep grandaughter safe.

Great product, but I did notice that one night the thermometer was saying the same temperature even after the heating had turned off and the room was definately cooler.

I turned it off and on again and this seemed to jolt it back to life and it reduced the temp on the display.

This is easily one of the best baby products I have brought.

It's very simple to use, just plug into the mains and press the button on the bottom of the egg and it will tell you automatically, at a glance the temperature of the baby's room.

It shows a happy face when the temperature is ideal and a sad face when it's too hot or too cold.

It also glows 3 different colours depending on the temperature, the yellow glow being the ideal temperature.

It gives fantastic piece of mind at a glance and allows you to adjust baby's bedding/clothing accordingly.

If there is one baby product I would recommend to mums/mums-to-be then this one would be it!

Great, this is perfect for when its bedtime I know exactly whether the room is too hot or too cold or just right. The colour changing system is great because you dont have to do all the fiddling about of checking if 22c is ok or what it means.

This looks lovely, however thiere is a 2 degree difference between the temperature this shows and the temperature shown on the thermom that came free with my grobag......my Tomy monitor displays a different temperature to the other two.

Maybe I have supernatural beings playing games with my room.
