Bought this as a present for my soon-to-be first grandchild having seen someone using one on holiday. As baby not yet here I can't really comment on how good it is, I can only base rating on recommendation and demonstration that I had.

Ok if your baby sits very upright on their own

This doesn't fit all chairs and it doesn't keep the baby as upright as you need to feed them unless they sit really well on their own. Better to go to places that provide highchairs.

Easy to use and compact

The Totseat is great and money well spent. It's really easy to use and versatile. I like the fact it's nice and compact so you're not having to lug a huge travel high chair around.

The service from this website was great too. I requested the saver delivery as it's free and I wasn't in any particular rush to receive the Totseat, and it still arrived within 2 days!

Great product but quality varies

Really excellent product - we took it away with us for a weekend away and it fitted on all the chairs we tried. Meant we could feed baby in our room and clear up the mess ourselves rather than sticking to rigid opening times for restaurants.

Baby also seemed very comfortable and secure in it (he's 6.5 mths but big for his age) The only sore point is the first Totseat we got had the buttons and buttonholes completely misaligned on it. This was speedily replaced but even on the replacement there is one button/hole that is slightly misaligned. We decided to use it anyway but hence the 4 stars.

This harness is fantastic for my 5 month old as he is quite big for his age and hates lying down. We will be off on a 7 week holiday overseas soon and this will suit him perfectly when we are eating out. I love how it adjusts to fit him securely and give him plenty of support.

We purchased this product for our holidays to cut down on the amount of items we needed to travel with, Its so versatile as it can be used in everyday travelling such as family days out and also for the big events such as holidays. We are so pleased with this purchase and cannot believe how small the item is but how big its usefulness is.

I wish these were around when I had my first child! No more waiting for a highchair, this is so easy to carry and fits on every type of chair (so far!). Brilliant!

Good quality, but not quite right for a 24 month

Good quality and love the design, but tends to pin my 24month old to the back of the seat where she finds it difficult to reach the table. I'm having a 2nd, so hope to get use out of it for a younger child. Seat does say suitable for up to 30 months, but I've realised now that really a 24-30 month child needs 'boosting' up to table height, rather than 'securing'.

Very useful for days out

This is fab! It is no bigger than a pac-a-mac in your bag and really supports baby well. My little girl can sit up on her own, but still has a few wobbles. This holds her really tight and she feels secure.

Just wish it had a laminate wipe clean layer on the piece down the front where baby food and drinks are likely to splatter so that we didn't have to wash every time. No more oversized and uncomfortable wooden high chairs that have never seen a cloth!

Great invention

I bought this for my first grandson. My daughter took it everywhere with her and had many comments from the general public in restaurants and cafes on what a great idea it was.

Not all restaurants have highchairs and some that do, do not keep them very clean. My daughter has just had twins so I will have to buy another one.

Perfect for eating out and grandparents' house!

I bought this to take with us on holiday for my 7 month old daughter (who is pretty tall). It's small to pack, very easy to set up and you can put a cushion under your little one to lift them to the right height. My little one was very happy and comfortable in it. I also used it at the grandparents' house which was a perfect and cheaper solution for the occasional use than having to buy another highchair.

Best baby product I have bought

I honestly don't know what I would have done without this product. It gets used every weekend when we are out. I don't have to put my baby in unclean high chairs and also don't have to worry about going to places that don't have high chairs. I recommend this to all my friends.

This is a really good idea and it did work, somewhat. Maybe my son is just really squirmy or perhaps we didn't put it on him correctly. It wasn't keeping him in the chair as well as it could have done. I think it was more us than the product.

A friend recommended one of these seats before I went on holiday for a week - and I am so glad she did. Such a good buy - it fitted to every seat I tried and worked brilliantly.

Also good for use whenever eating out, especially as I hate it when high chairs provided are dirty.

My boy (9mths old) was always happy in the chair for a while - often even long enough for us to have our dinner too - result!!

My daughter in law already had one of these so when we knew we would have our grandson for a few days we decided it was the best thing to buy.

Brilliant whether eating at home or out, there was nothing this good in my grandson's dad's day!

Great product but don't get it in denim!

Positives:

The Totseat is really clever. I have replaced a JoJo Maman Bebe portable highchair with this as it fits every type of chair. My little boy is secure and I feel happy that it is really safe.

Negatives:

My sister has this in the Chocolate Chip colourway. The material is virtually wipe clean - perfect for a childrens item. So as not to copy I bought this in denim. Big mistake. It crumples and as it is cotton it needs washing every time we use it.

Overall:

I think that this is an essential item.

I bought this because my 9 month old was moving into a new car seat which stays in the car. We were going to a caravan for the weekend, so instead of taking his car seat into the caravan to feed him we used this (and it fit a fold up deckchair, the metal type!!). Also we are going away in a few weeks and it will save us having to worry about highchairs everywhere we go!

Would recommend this to anyone.

This product is perfect, my 20 mth old no longer wants to sit in his high chair, this allows him to sit up at the table for dinner safely, also stops him wandering off. Plus fits on any chair so far!

Had this for 2 weeks now and have used it on 4 different types of chairs, it fitted them all. DO have to be careful on some chairs, as one of the tall chairs I used this on was very light and this seemed to make it a bit top heavy and my 13 month old could rock the chair!!

The totseat is a very handy alternative to highchairs in cafes/restaurants etc. It is easy to use and does not take up any space. It is also handy to have in your change bag for those times when you need a high chair but there are none left/available. The only down side is that my daughter doesnt appear to be overly comfortable if in it for more that about 45mins.

This is a fantastic product that turns heads wherever you go. So far it has fitted every chair I have tried. My little one is 6 months old and loves it. The chair does sit quite low but at least my son can sit at the table with us. I know that the chair is clean and that he will be comfortable! Great product:-)

So light and small I can just put in my handbag, my 7 months old son's just loving it, it is so trendy and seems very comfortable sitting in it, I've just ordered another one for my friend. This is great for visiting friends and family who do not have small children! Everyone who has seen it have been surprised at how secure and good it is - even other mums with other types of "portable" highchair. It folds up into its own carry bag, which easily fits into a change bag or a large handbag. DO NOT leave your child unattended in the Totseat.

Easy to use, handy to carry

Fantastically portable, stylish and easy to use. Only downside is that it isn't greatly supportable for the smaller baby/toddler. My 8 month old can sit up unaided but the Totseat is a little on the large side for her and she can tip over to the side quite easily, though with no actual danger of falling out.

A must for the traveler and child that lunches.
