Excellent product for older toddlers

The LittleLife daypack is a very well designed and made product that is best used for slighter older toddlers or children that are confident walkers. My daughter is 14 months and can walk well but is highly wayward and would suit a harness with greater body support and parental control.
The backpack is fine for use in places where a younger child perfecting their walk can fall over safely.

My little one loves putting this on and heading out for a walk. We always planned to get the turtle ones but after seeing the colour of the dinosaur, we knew that was the one for him.
He is at the age (1.5 yrs) that he is steady on his feet and all we need the reigns for is to stop him walking into the road or river. If you're looking for reigns that will help hold a little person up, these won't do. You need the ones with a harness.

If you are looking for a fun way to keep hold of your little one, then this is great!! The bag is not over big, but again the main reason to buy this is to hold on to your child.

This is an excellent product and a much better alternative to reigns. My daughter puts her favourite toys inside and is happy to carry it around for hours, completely unaware that she is attached to my wrist at all times.

I'm really happy with the turtle backpack, it does the job well and is very cute. The only minor thing is that the rain hood thing is v small and a bit useless.
Backpack possibly a little on the shallow side

The backpack wasn't as big as I thought it would be, not much storage space, but still ok and the reins is the main thing. The hood was a nice surprise.
Currently my daughter likes to hold the reins handle rather than the adults!

I have purchased this for my son, my daughter has the ladybird version this is a fantastic alternative to traditional wrist straps and reigns. Much more attractive and toddlers love the backpacks.

This backpack was even nicer than it looked online...my only concern is that the "wings" on the butterfly style will not last very long. But my daughter adores wearing this. I have not yet had to use the "lead" but it works great as a backpack.

My son takes his things to nursery in this backpack and I have had lots of lovely comments about how cute it is and people are even more impressed when I tell them it has reins too. A lovely product.

My little one is now 21 months and has started to want to walk everywhere. She is obsessed with this and insists on wearing it in the most silly of places (ie - car seat, in nursery etc!) An excellent idea without them thinking they are on reins

Really great - the only thing is that all of the other animal ones have a waterproof hood but for some reason the butterfly doesn't. My daughter loves it though and she even likes wearing the backpack around the house!

Was a bit worried I'd feel like I was walking a dog when using the lead but actually just feel like I am able to give B his independence whilst giving myself some peace of mind. The backpack looks comfy, B likes wearing it and the lead is the perfect length.
It's really good quality and the backpack seems waterproof. I thought the waterproof hood mentioned in the description was to keep the pack dry but actually it's to go over the kids head to keep them dry. The turtle one has eyes and the cow one has horns!
Have had lots of comments from strangers (although that might just be because my son's so darn cute! ;-)

I am so impressed with this backpack. As soon as it was out of the wrapper my 18month old was putting it on! He loves this and brings it over for me to put it on him most days!
The reason that I bought it is I wanted reins really. But I also wanted them to be incorporated into something he liked and enojoyed wearing! I love that you can remove the rein if you want so it's just a backpack! Also when I received it I realised there is a zip compartment with a rainhood in and it's green and has eyes on! my son looks sooo cute with it up!

This is the perfect present for yours or someone elses little one who likes to be independent and run off a lot! The space inside is fine.. not sure what everyone else was planning on putting in it but carries nappy, wipes, drink raisins etc... all the essentials! Trying to think of someone else I can buy one for!

I think on the whole this is a fantastic product, very cute and practical. However i have one small concern, the strap attaches at the top of the backpack which means there is a chance of strangling your little one if they turn around quickly and you're not watching where the rein has gone! If the strap attached at the side of the backpack this would be better.

Better for more stable toddlers

This is a really cute back pack and can hold a couple of small items (snacks usually in my daughter's case). However, I find that it's not ideally suited to stabilising a toddler that's not too confident on their feet.....more for making sure they don't run off.
It really is SUPER cute though!
Fabulous looking reins and little rucksack

This is brilliant, my 16 month little boy absolutely loves wearing it, even in the house as a little bag on his back. The daysack fits a drink, dodi (dummy) and even a nappy and snack (make sure it's not too heavy though).
Perfect for a whole day out or just popping out for a walk. The reins are super, but better for a slightly older child, as my little one is still a little clumsy on his feet, so holding hands is best at the moment. Wouldn't hesitate to purchase more for my minded children.*****

Love our turtle day pack but do find it a bit bulky, we have a smaller than average toddler. It works well with a coat without a hood and will be used more when he outgrows the reins, also longer lead is helpful to my taller partner.
