Great - some success with keeping our 2 1/2 year old in bed that little bit later. She loves it and eagerly waits for the sun to come up but doesn't get get of bed until it does - only took a few days training!

Clock is easy to use and the design looks much better than a lot of the other clocks. Only drawback is that it doesn't take batteries.

Have been 'umming and arring' whether to purchase a product like this for about a year now.....biggest mistake was waiting so long!

Its a great clock that really 'does what it says' - my 4yr old grasped the concept immediately and night times are no longer full of constant 'visits' from him asking "is it nearly time to get up now?"

Love the feature of being able to set two 'wake up times', as although we are past the 'nap' stage it makes setting the clock for the weekends (just a bit of a lie-in!)so easy.Highly recommend.

We've just bought this clock as a second clock at the grandparents house as the kids share a room and now never get up before the sun comes up.

Highly recommended to any parent who's sleep deprived from early waking toddlers!

This is a great product, but I knew that, it's our second. Pricey but well worth the money. As for That Cute Age, excellent, fast, free delivery, as always, despite being Christmas week and what with the weather. Other, more well known retailers could take a leaf out of their book. Worth every penny for a great night sleep

Fantastic product, within 2 nights of using it my son went from screaming between 5 and 6 every morning to sleeping or at least being quiet every morning until the sun came up.

We also now get no carry on from my daughter when she is put to bed at night.

The only issue we have had with it is that the kids can both unlock the buttons which has meant they have been able to fiddle with the settings. One morning they were both up late because they had been playing with the clocks and the sun didn't come up. Highly recommend it if you value a good night sleep.

This clock is fab!! It arrived in super speedy time (next day) and believe me it couldn't have come quick enough!! My 3 year old daughter was finding the season change rather difficult, and was waking mostly at around 4.30 to 5.15am and wanting to get up! on a few occasions she was waking from 2 onwards :(

I am a Mum of two and work full time and I was feeling completely shattered with the broken sleep!

I purchased the Gro Clock a few weeks ago now and am pleased to report my 3 year old daughter is staying in bed until the 'Sun' on the clock comes Up! she runs in every morning saying "The suns up Mummy, The suns up"! Bless her, it took about 4 days for her to get the hang of waiting til the sun came up, but she got there in the end!!

I looked at the other products available on the market and the Gro Clock did have the better reviews, Yes this clock is slightly more expensive than others but it is well worth every penny, you get a lovely little story book which you read the first night to explain all about the clock and it is so easy to use.

I was sceptical it would work but was at my wits end to try anything whatever the cost, and boy am I pleased I bought this little clock as Mummy and Daughter are both much happier :)

We bought this for our 22 month old daughter. We have been using it everyday for 2 weeks now. Although there has been no miracles there is definitely an improvement. She still wakes up early but she lies quietly playing with her cuddly toys and doesn't shout us until the sunshine comes out at 7.

I was very impressed with the service I received from this company & will use them again.

Brilliant for reluctant nappers!

We were recommended this by a friend to help keep our daughter in bed until our alarm went off in the morning and we're so glad we took their advice!

Not only does she now know to stay in bed until the sun comes up on the clock face (or go back to bed straight away until it does if she has got up too early) but she's also happy to nap again in the afternoon, which she had given up but still needed.

If you're not sure, bear in mind it includes an audible alarm so can be used as an alarm clock in the future too so it's good value for money.

I'd recommend it!!

Very well made clock that's simple to use and a charming book that comes with it (that my 2 year old loves!) - We've been using it for about 2 weeks now and my little one is finally relenting to the fact we won't come in until the sun comes up - but he is very stubborn!

I brought it for my two and half years old when he moved into his new room and big bed as he came out of his room when he woke.

I told him he wasn't allowed out of the room until he sees the sun and that's exactly what he does.

He gets really excited when he sees the sun. Every night we say goodbye to the sun and hello to the moon. It also doubles up as a night light. It would be great if it had battery backup.

Overall a great buy.

I love this item, it is the best I have bought in a long time and well worth the money! Delivery was quick and the package arrived not damaged.

My nearly 3 year old son had been confused since the dark mornings arrived about what time to get up. He's always been a good sleeper and never an early riser. But as it was always dark whe we got up he thought that as soon as he woke during the night it must be time to get up, this led to him wandering round the house at 3-4 am switching lights and the tv on!

Since buying the clock this behaviour has totally vanished. We read the lovely story that comes with the light on the first night we used the clock and my son really grasped the idea that when the sun appears then it is time to get up, and his words on the first morning after using the clock were, "mammy I love my clock". Enough said I think!

I would and have recommnended this product to other parents. :D

I actually love nearly everything about this clock and my 22 month old son loves saying goodnight to the sun and welcoming the star at bedtime. The only reason for the 4/5 is that it seems to go into an energy saving mode during the daytime (I thought the sun would stay on all day), so when we look at it often is is a dull screen with the time on it in small print. I did read the instructions and thought I had programmed it correctly. I will have to revisit the manual. Great at night-time!!! And it gives off the perfect glow which you can adjust to meet your child's needs.

My almost 3 year old took to it straight away and although he's not quite grasped the concept of staying quiet and asleep until Mr sunshine comes out (he calls out to tell my husband and I that the sun is not up yet!) he does understand that its not time to get up till then! Bought this for our 20 month old wee boy as a bit of a gamble. He was up at 4.30 - 5 each morning, which was a nightmare. He instantly understood the idea and is now sleeping until 6.15am, 2 weeks later!!! RESULT!!!

I really can't believe how good it actually is and the concept itself is very simple. Even though he's not 2 yet, the idea worked for him. I'm 100% delighted!!

This is a great product. Our 2 year old who was already a good sleeper but an early riser. This clock is helping to push back the morning wake-up.

A shame and an odd choice that the night time image is a star rather than the moon, but she doesn't seem to mind.

A lady told me about this on holiday. My daughter has just turned two so a bit young to fully understand it but she does understand that it changes colour. Every evening when she gets in the door she wants to go and see her clock!

I know this will be an invaluable addition to her bedroom over the next few months...and it gives off just the right amount of light in the dark.

The GroClock has really worked. Our son would regularly wake us up at 5.30/6am but since having the clock he now understands that he is to stay in his bedroom until "wakey wakey time" - when the sunshine shines from the clock.

My only slight reservation is that even on the dimmest setting the blue light is quite bright, it hasn't stopped our kids from falling asleep but it does mean their room is no longer pitch black.

Love it! My son loves it and we sleep for so much longer!. Highly recommend the clock and the book is great too. Worked the first morning we used it.

Well made, doesn't feel flimsy or easily breakable like others on the market. Only possible improvements would be to have the option of using batteries instead of mains so we could take it away in our tent! Also would be good if it had analogue time on it too.

We bought this for my daughter, as my son decided that he definitely was not yet ready to give up his 'magic clock'. Although she is only seventeen months, she does understand the concept, and has stopped crying in the mornings when she wakes up if the clock is still blue.

The 'new improved' version isn't significantly better than the old style clock for us as neither of our children are old enough to read the time, but the addition of the digital clock does seem to logically mean that it will make the clock last longer which we like the idea of!

Rather than my son shouting every morning, "Is it wakey time?" he now looks at his clock, we don't get disturbed and he occasionally goes back to sleep. He is much less grumpy during the day.

He does get wonderfully excited and giggly when he finds out the sun has come up but sometimes he is so engrossed in his games in bed that he can forget to check for 15 minutes! Extra peace, bliss.

Great clock

This clock has really helped my nearly 4 year old to wait until an appropriate time before coming out of her room in the morning. She loves telling me 'Mummy the sun is on my clock!' I would say that it is most suitable for this age.

The only negatives with the clock are that it cannot run on batteries so a child can pull the mains lead out. Also you can only key lock whilst the sleeptime programme is in progress so my daughter often fiddles and changes the clock during the day. On the occasions that I don't realise she's done this, the clock then produces the sun too early or late!

I would recommend this clock to parents of 3-5 year olds as it gives a good idea of time passing before they can tell the time by themselves.

Clock does what it is shown to do. Our son does not always sleep till the sun comes up and also seems to think it's ok for him to get up with one star left on the clock but he is getting better. Good value for money on this site though.

Worth the price!

I was initially put off by the price tag but eventually gave it a go a couple of months ago and am very glad I did.

My son loves saying goodnight to his "bedtime clock" and knows the story almost word for word and asks for it every night. We then get to stay in bed until after 6am too!!

It's lovely to be able to blame something else rather than be a mean mummy saying that it's still night-time or not time to get up yet. Every night as I leave his room I can now say "see you when the sun comes up".

We got this in desperation as our 2-year old was getting up during the night, and coming in to us at 5am. It took a couple of nights but she now knows she has to wait for the sun before coming in to us (she still gets out of bed a bit beforehand, but stays in her room and plays, which is an improvement).

She really enjoys saying "night night" to the sun. The book was a bit disappointing - it goes on about needing to sleep at night so you can stay awake all day, but she still has an afternoon nap, so we just modified the story a bit. The only disappointing thing is that it's only mains powered, so you're limited in where you can put it. I'd definitely recommend it though!

Revolutionary!

Our 3 year old daughter had always slept through the night and only woke with nightmares or illness. A recent bout of long coughing and cold symptoms threw her right out and she started waking at 6am - calling to us to ask if it was morning yet! After a few weeks of this we decided to invest in the Gro Clock!

Within 2 mornings she had got the general idea and now will play happily till the 'sun comes up' and sometimes now sleeps past the sun coming up! Well done Gro Clock!

A great product, my son loves pressing the button to say goodnight to the sun. Haven't benefitted from the sun showing in the morning due to it disappearing before he wakes, but overall works really well when he wakes in the middle of the night (which was our main problem).

Bought this clock for our 18 month old boy who tends to wake up very early! I know its supposed to be from 2 years, but am hoping that if we start him on this early, he'll get the hang of it after a while! He loves the book, but doesn't quite understand the concept yet, I'm sure that will come though!

Excellent idea and product, easy for a small child to understand but also can be used as a digital clock for when they are old enough to tell the time. Fairly easy to work with day time nap settings as well as the morning settings. Also an alarm option. Another great product from the Gro Group - where do they get these fab ideas from. I shall be telling a friend and I will also be telling them about "that cute age" great price and superfast delivery, couldn't ask for more.

Fantastic clock which my 2 year old daughter loves. The digital changing from Moon to Sun in the morning means that it is silent, so on the off chance that she is sleeping late, it does not wake her.

We now get woken with the chant "Mummy, the sun is up now"!

Really easy to use, with a nice story to read to get them used to the clock.

I really love this product as it's not babyish like some other ones. The story book is fantastic and helps little ones understand why they go to bed and why they need to stay in bed until the sun comes up.

My daughter is 2 1/2 and she loves it, she says goodnight to the sun every night and gets excited when the sun comes back up in the morning. She no longer gets out of bed early.

I wish I had this clock a long time ago.
