Haven't used it yet as babies not due yet! However, the product is good quality, fits my Babyjogger mini city double and I can't wait to use it. As I live in Vietnam which is incredibly hot and sunny, I'm hopping it will be very useful indeed. It may be 5 stars yet, but can't give that till I've tried it with babies!!

A brilliant buy for awkward buggies. Our buggy has flat handles and we couldn't get a parasol to fit. This is much better as it doesn't need to be constantly moved with the sun. It was recommended by my Health Visitor and I would do the same.
Easy to use, exactly what we were looking for

Brilliant idea, have a parasol that we kept having to moving. This shade a babe was exactly what we had been looking for and keeps our little boy completely out of the sun. Love the opening at the front, and the fact that it packs down really small. Excellent product.

This has been a god send. I bought it when my son was a baby and used it for as long as he was in a pushchair. It was a perfect fit for my mothercare 3 wheeler buggy. It can be used as a shade from sun or rain and even with the netting down it still provides perfect shade on all sides. I found it invaluable on holiday. It also offer darkness for sleeping.

This Shade A Babe cover looks as good as the one I used 6 years ago with my first child. They are a must for sun protection and provide the vital, comprehensive cover that a parasol cannot. Just waiting for baby to make an appearance so I can use this one!!!

We saw these in a creche in Greece when we were last on holiday and bought it to take to Croatia. Can't speak highly enough of it. Used in the day for walking around, creates shade and lets air through. Used at night to keep out mossies.
Good velcro adjustable straps so would fit all strollers- ours is a Maclaren- zip open front for easy opening when in the shade. If on holiday in the sun you will appreciate this product very much, for us total peace of mind in the scorching Adriatic sun.

Great for country walks

This sunshade is great for country walks as it keeps the sun off baby and also protects him from bushes/nettles brushing against the side of the pushchair. I found it fits best on my 3-wheel Urban Detour - it was a really neat fit as if designed just for it.
In comparision, on my Mamas & Papas Ultima, I struggled to get it to fit well on the hood and to work out how to secure the velcro straps. Also if baby was sitting upright in the Ultima pushchair seat, he couldn't see out even with the shade unzipped so it could only be used if he was lying down.
However, I would recommend it overall to other Mums.

I bought this as I had trouble finding a parasol that fitted my pram. It provides good protection for the baby - great for summer.

This is a fantastic product as it shades baby completely even with the zip part open so baby can see out (which is how I always have it).
I have used it in light rain and it keeps the rain away from the baby. It is easy to attach to the buggy and the buggy folds and clips shut with it on also. Fantastic product! (also velcro sticks well to the pink hood shade part so my daughter can have toys hanging down too!).

I had been looking for a decent sunshade for our buggy for a LONG time and always thought this one was a bit pricey. I finally caved and ordered it because nothing else I had seen came near it and I'm SO glad I eventually bought it. We definitely got our money's worth for the one weekend it has been scorchio here as I didn't have to worry about my son being in the sun at all.
After years of fighting with parasols this makes life so much easier and so many people have commented on how good it looks too!
Fantastic product- perfect for abroad holidays

Bought to shade my 4mth old son whilst on holiday in Italy. Product was perfect-kept him in the shade by day and free from mosquito bites by night (everyone else was bitten like mad!). I didn't worry about my son being in the sun and he wasn't fazed by it. Seems quite dark and imposing but quite cool inside and he still smiled at you, so he could obviously see through it.
Perfect for a small baby- you may find your child will not like being inside if he is older due to the darkness/sight restriction although there is a front opening if you are not in direct sunlight.
Would highly recommend the item- especially for holidays abroad, much better than a parasol.

Great purchase for putting parents minds at rest as well as protecting young children from the sun. I've tried it on 3 pushchairs including 3 and 4 wheelers and it fits perfectly. We call it a den to make it sound exciting for our little girl
Does the job

I had tried an older version of this product which fit better on my Bugaboo Bee as the elastic top fit well, surrounding the buggy hood and the width was slimmer and no long velcro straps. I can see what they've done here and tried to make it more universal by fitting larger buggies but unfortunately it makes mine look ridiculous. But I use it for the protection of the baby which is the most important thing I guess.
The window opening is good as there is no need to take the product off, this is something the older version does not have.

I am so glad I bought this. We took it to Italy and I was much happier knowing that the baby wasn't in direct sunlight and it also helped keep the bugs away from him when we were out at night. It's easy to attach but it does need to be tightened up now and again especially if you are folding and unfolding the pushchair.

Wouldn't be without it all year round

The Shade A Babe is a very good product and we wouldn't be without now. Although it is not yet summer the sun is still quite strong and it does a fantastic job of protecting against potential sunburn and also the sun's glare in our baby's eyes. It also protects against wind chill and light rain.
The only thing that could be improved is the size of the opening, could be bigger, as we catch our baby's head on the hood when taking him out of his stroller. Other than that it's a great product and every parent should get one.
Could be designed better

Company delivered swiftly - always nice! This is a good product apart from the fact its hard to get the child in and out of the pushchair once its fitted as the opening is so small and it obscures so much of the front. If it was simply re-designed to have horizontal zips/ velcro on the left and right also, it would work so much better. However in terms of sun protection, its great.

Amazing!! Bought a three wheeler buggy and it fits it perfect!! Bought it to go on holiday with and it worked a treat... even used it at night so when my little boy fell asleep in the pushchair it was dark for him. We definately recommend to anyone!

So much safer than parasol and you don't have to keep moving it when you change direction!, but a bit fiddly to attach, and when not in use, quite bulky to store under pram - however, knowing that my baby is safe under it is very reassuring.

I've only used it a few times as purchased late in the year. I used a parasol before which was driving me nuts because you had to keep moving it about to shade your baby when you changed direction and then it would drop and drag on the floor. At least with this shade you don't have to do any of that.
It's easy to attach to my babystyle twister three wheeler. The front zip hatch is really good to pass things to your baby without having to take the whole thing off. My baby is only six months old so the thicker shade part only just shades my baby's eyes and nose. Next year will be a different story!

Covers little one from sun in all directions

This sunshade is easy to fit and adapts to most buggies and strollers. It provides a stable shade so you can relax into your walk knowing that your baby/toddler is safe without you having to look everytime you change direction. Much, much better than those flimsy buggy umbrellas you can get. I'd say they were a waste of money and don't really provide enough shade.
The Shade-a-Babe allows your baby to see out and air to flow through. Can be used in windy weather and light rain to protect baby. Only negative is that it must be like being in a dark hole. Still, better to be safe.
Great shade

Great shade, kept my baby cool which meant he could sleep. He did like to poke his feet out if we didn't zip up the sides. The front folds down into a pocket, but leaves the sides shaded, which was useful. We did find that we had to pull it up over the hood further, as it sometimes slipped down. This meant that he was in total darkness! But it did work, kept him cool and sunburn free. We still put sun protection cream on him though which saved time if he was going to come out of the buggy. I would also suggest you don't trim the Velcro straps, just in case you change the pushchair! The only reason this shade doesn't have 5 stars is a very small section of the Velcro had some stitching that had missed. This did not make any difference to the performance.

Fantastic, it was received on time for a holiday to Turkey. It kept my twins safe from the hot sun and kept the flies out. It was well worth the money, a really good idea and it fitted on 3 different double buggies, a 3 wheeler and 2 side by side buggies.

This product is fantastic, we have a Jane Nomad Pro and a Chicco 0.6T and the shade a babe fits them both, excellent news as we are heading off to Gran Canaria soon and will be taking the Chicco on our trvels and know our little one will be well protected from the sun. thanks again!!
